VAL OZIGBO DOLES OUT CHRISTMAS LARGESSE TO ORPHANAGE HOMES ACROSS ANAMBRA STATE

In a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, the renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, Sir Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, has extended a helping hand towards vulnerable children in Anambra State, were selected orphanages received food items, provisions, and educational materials worth millions of naira to cushion the worsening economic challenges.

Among the beneficiaries of his magnanimity were the Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home Agulu, who recounted how Val Ozigbo in 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, donated relief materials to all orphanage homes and saved numerous lives.

The presentation which was held at St Joseph’s Cathedral Ekwulobia, was attended by priests and other religious faithfuls including the Cathedral administrator, Rev Fr Alphonsus Ezeoke, who represented the bishop of the diocese, His Eminence Peter Cardinal Okpaleke.

Mr Val Ozigbo who was accompanied by his amiable wife, praised the resilience and dedication of home managers towards ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children. He added that to ensure a brighter future, the quality of education and healthcare should be standard enough.

In her speech, the administrator of Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home Agulu, Mrs Aisha Edward Maduagwu, described Val Ozigbo’s gesture as timely.

“Once again, we are witnessing the unwavering commitments of Val Ozigbo towards community development. This gesture which is a timely intervention, has won him widely acclaim and commendations. Our children are overjoyed, and it is a reminder to us that we are not forgotten, Aisha said.”

She further expressed her elation upon how Val Ozigbo intended to streamline the sickle cell orphanage home into national consciousness by helping it to participate actively at the national level.

Other speakers extolled the kindness of Val Ozigbo towards the underprivileged. They opined that his charity is devoid of any political colouration, but a sheer expression of his goodwill.
